Excellent service and great pizza! I ordered 5 pizzas the night before for 11:00am pickup for my kid's school birthday party. The pizzas were piping hot and ready when I got there at 11:00. They helped me out to my car even though it was pouring rain! Super nice guys and the pizzas were great. Pro tip: ask for the pizzas double cut if they're for a kid's party! Would definitely return!
The small pizza shop is totally legit. I've had people from New York. Tell me it's better than New York pizza give it a try. Tell me what you think. The artichoke pizza is absolutely phenomenal. You can get pizzas by the slice yummy lunch specials, and salads. I like to have them run my slice through the oven to make it extra crispy. This is one of the best values in the downtown area high-quality great service clean pizza shop.

This place did not come up on any of my searches for slices in the area; there's something to be said for exploration. I didn't have high expectations, and boy, was I surprised! It's difficult to take Los Angeles seriously; DTLA is another universe But, this place definitely brightened my day. Seating barely half a dozen, I'm surprised this place is not packed with a line around the block. I didn't feel like eating a whole pizza at Bottega Louie or CPK, nor was I in the mood for ambience and high prices; I just wanted a damn oily, scrumptious slice. PND did not disappoint. Bookmarked!
This was a great slice. Got the pesto with Avocado. Delicious. The owners were really cool and a bit of The Old School which I really like. Just wish it was closer to my house.
I work on 8th street...so went to go get "pizza next door". Get it ? lol but no seriously I finally made the pilgrimage over because I've been wanting not to try this place since I go past it everyday. Today was the day and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint! I got 2 slices of pepperoni with a side of ranch. Best pizza I've had in a while. Probably since Ive moved from Philly tbh. Of course I enjoy Desano, so Palermo in Los Feliz when I can make the trip and there's a pizza joint in Echo Park on Alvarado that's good but it's not east coast style. This is legit. I went to Prime Pizza last week on Fairfax and it was a complete waste of money! Overpriced and they hardly put any cheese. PIZZA NEXT DOOR IS MY NEW GO TO. PERIOD ! hope this helps you guys. This is a great place to grab a quick slice. It was right around the corner from my job so during my lunch break, I loved being able to walk here. The lunch special isn't bad on the wallet either. It's good for a quick bite when you're short on time and on the go. The pizza slices are a great size and the people working there are always very nice and generous with the Parmesan cheese and pepper. It's never that crowded since they move you out pretty quickly. It's clean. Service is fast. It's a small restaurant with limited seating inside. I enjoy the outside seating area. I never stay longer than 20 minutes.
One of the best pizzas around. Good big slices, awesome owners and the price is right. Quality is very consistent. Never had any issues with this business. Highly recommended for pizza lovers
